This lamp was designed for off-road rally drivers where hard off-road driving generates vibration and shock; so an internal light frame protects the lamp and a stone guard protects the lens. The body is constructed of polycarbonate resin to reduce weight and retain impact resistance. The effective range for the spot beam is 886 feet; the driving beam is 429 feet.
