Q. Whats the deal with free shipping over $98? Most items qualify for free shipping when your order total equals $98 or greater. Qualifying item prices must total at least $98. Qualifying items are clearly marked on the product pages with "Qualifies for Free Shipping over $98". Taxes and other fees do not count towards the $98 threshold. All items must be shipped to a single address within the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We will choose the carrier and service for all free shipping orders. During unusually busy shipping periods, free shipping orders may receive lower priority than paid shipping orders.

Q. What doesnt qualify for free shipping? Items that UPS considers oversized, or UPS has determined require additional handling. Some common examples of oversize and/or additional handling items, as defined by UPS, include bumpers, tire carriers, leaf springs, Hi-Lift jacks, fender flare sets, seats etc.

Q. When will I get my order?  We ship from our warehouse in Seneca, South Carolina (zip 29678) every day Monday-Friday (except certain holidays). In stock items generally ship the same day if the order is placed weekdays before 4:00 PM Eastern, or the next business day otherwise. Time in transit varies from 1 to 2 days in most southeastern states up to about a week for many western locations. Click here to use the UPS time in transit calculator.

Q. What if I want it faster?  We offer many UPS shipping methods. Expedited methods such as next day air, 2nd day air, etc. are available at the time of checkout. The time in transit for these methods does not include weekends and holidays. For example, if we ship your item on Thursday using next day air, it will arrive on Friday, but if you chose 2nd day air it will arrive on Monday. UPS offers Saturday delivery for an additional fee on next day and 2nd day shipments. Please contact us by phone if you need Saturday delivery.

Q. What if my billing address and my shipping address are different? When the shipping address on your order doesn't match the credit card billing address, there may be shipping delays. This is necessary to prevent credit card fraud. Almost 100% of fraudulent and stolen credit card transactions involve shipping to an address far away from the actual cardholder's address. In order to protect our customers and ourselves, we investigate such orders prior to shipping. In all cases, we require a valid, listed, telephone number that can be matched to the billing address.

Q. What if I order an item that you don't have in stock?  Orders for out-of-stock items are handled on a case by case basis. Many times we have the item on order from the manufacturer and will ship to you as soon as our order arrives. Most orders for items that are not in stock and not on order will be "drop shipped" to you from the manufacturer. You will be notified via email of these details and an estimated delivery date.

Q. What if I choose an expedited shipment method such as next day air and my item is out of stock?  We will try to drop ship this order to you directly from the manufacturer. Almost no manufacturer can process an order and ship it the same day. If the order can ship on the same or the next business day, we proceed with the order. This means that next day air shipments actually reach you in two days, etc. Since the shipping method is still next day air, the shipping charge must still be next day air. We cannot refund any shipping charges in these cases. If your order cannot ship complete within this two day window, we will notify you and ask how you would like us to proceed.

Q. What if I place an order after business hours? Our order cutoff time is 4:00 PM eastern each day. If you place an order after this time, it is considered to have been placed on the next business day.

Will I ever have to pay extra shipping charges?

In almost all cases, your checkout receipt will reflect the actual amount that you will be charged for shipping. This may not be true if any of the following apply to you;

You ordered an item that said Free Shipping

  • Free shipping for any item so advertised applies only to ground shipping to destinations inside the continental USA. If you require a faster service, please phone your order to 1-800-257-4294.

  • If the shipping destination is in Alaska, Hawaii, or a U.S. territory, we will email a shipping charge quote and await your approval before shipping.

  • All items advertised "Free Shipping" or "Shipping Included", etc. will be shipped via the carrier and service of our choice, usually UPS Ground. Choosing another shipping method on the checkout page will not change this.

Your shipping destination is outside the U.S.

  • We do not export. We must have a U.S. shipping address.

You are stationed abroad (APO & FPO addresses)

  • Shipping charges are not computed for APO and FPO military addresses. Orders can only be shipped via U.S. Mail. We will email a shipping charge quote and await your approval before shipping.

  • U.S. Mail will not carry items that weigh more than 70 lbs.

You ordered a very large or very heavy item

  • Items exceeding 150 lbs. or which have physical dimensions exceeding a certain limit (think Jeep Hard Top) cannot be shipped via UPS or the other standard "package" services. These items generally are shipped via common carrier (truck freight). Truck freight carriers charge residential fees of as much as $50.00 or more in addition to the shipping charges. To avoid this residential charge, we recommend that you arrange delivery to a business address with easy access for semi trucks.

  • Items in this category are generally indicated in the item descriptions.

  • Our website software may sometimes compute a shipping charge for these items. If it does, it will not be the correct amount.

  • We will contact you with a shipping charge quote and to arrange delivery.

We made a bad mistake!

  • UPS & other carriers use a method called "Dimensional Weight" to compute shipping charges. Dimensional weight is more than actual weight for some packages that are relatively large but don't weigh very much. Our system uses weight alone to calculate shipping charges, but we make every effort to enter a "billable" weight, so you will still see tha actual charge. If we make a small mistake and it costs us a few dollors, we just eat it and go on. If we make a huge mistake, we reserve the right to contact you prior to shipment about any additional charges that apply. You will only be charged additional charges after you agree to them.

-Returns & Replacements-


All merchandise purchased online from Clemson 4 Wheel Center may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase for a full refund of the amount paid for the product. Returned merchandise must be in new, unused, uninstalled condition, in its original packaging, complete with all packaging materials, hardware, instructions, etc.

Returned merchandise that does not meet these requirements may be subject to restocking and/or repackaging fees. Refunds do not include shipping costs. Returned merchandise that was received as part of a "free shipping" offer will be credited for the amount of the returned parts less actual outbound shipping charges paid by us and any restocking/repackaging fees that may apply.

If you need to return an item, please email sales@clemson4wheel.com for a return authorization. We will email your return authorization, which will include the address to which you should return the merchandise. Once you receive your authorization, return the merchandise to the address indicated. Please note, you the customer are responsible for the return shipping charges, as well as the safe return of the merchandise. Proper packaging and insurance on your shipment are very important to protect you against loss and/or damage.
